New Lift and Modernisation sales Manager

Hi, I am Les Oliphant.

My career within the lift industry began over 40 years ago as a lift engineer with H&C Lifts, The Express Lift Company and then Schindler UK.
Having worked on the tools for several years and whilst at Schindler moved into Repair and Modernisation Sales.
Following a successful journey within sales I then moved into Consultancy with Lerch Bates – which then led me to open my own lift consultancy. After 15 years of running a thriving business , unfortunately Covid changed the world I worked in and sadly I was forced to close my business.
I then went back to my happy place within the industry which is Sales – working for Ace lifts and also Liftec Express – a company originally formed by Otis.
I am now looking forward to my new venture and challenge within the Murray Lift group.
On a personal level I am a family man who loves sport particularly football, boxing, cricket and golf but only as a spectator these days.
