Hi, my name is Tommy, I was born and raised in SE London, and my family roots are Vietnamese.
In 2015, I started in the Lift Industry as an apprentice and spent several years working hands-on across installation, servicing, and repairs. Over the years, I’ve built up a strong technical foundation and a solid understanding of how to keep projects running smoothly and to a high standard.
My career decisions have always been intentional, with my long-term goals leading towards roles of management. In my previous roles, I was a construction manager and Project manager.
I’m now proud to be a Project Manager for Murray Lift Group, where I can bring together all the knowledge and experience that I have gained to deliver high-quality projects.
Outside of work, I am a dad of two and a big believer of leading by example. I’m into martial arts and long-distance running.
Staying active and competing keeps me sharp and disciplined, and that mindset carries over to how I work too. Coming from an engineering background, my love for building and maintaining things has never gone, so it’s not often you’ll find me sitting around and doing nothing.
Below is a Japanese concept I live by:
改善 Kaizen [Definition: Continuous improvement]
